2010 Student Summit

The Tourism Student Summit will be held again in 2010 on Wednesday 24 March at the Melbourne Park Function Centre.

The inaugural Student Summit in 2009 was considered a huge success and attracted more than 600 students, lecturers and industyr professsionals.

Bushfire Preparedness

As the 2009-10 summer approaches, it is essential  that tourism businesses, associations and other tourism stakeholders are ready to face what many expect to be another season of high fire danger for Victoria.

Tourism Alliance Victoria is working with Tourism Victoria on initiatives to assist the tourism industry with its preparations.

Bushfire Preparedness Briefings for Tourism Businesses

To better prepare tourism businesses for the bushfire season, Tourism Victoria and the CFA, in partnership with local councils, Parks Victoria, Department of Sustainability & Environment and regional/local tourism organisations, will be conducting a series of special Fire Ready briefings across Victoria.
